Windows names the publisher rather than warning about an unknown one. Right-click the file and open Properties → Digital Signatures to check it yourself.
Updates itself
New versions are verified against a pinned release key and installed in the background, and the previous version is kept so a bad update rolls itself back.
After you install it
- Open TallyPrime and load the company you want to sync. The connector reads it where it sits; it never moves or modifies your data.
- Sign in in the connector window with the same account you use on your phone.
- Choose your companies and press sync. The first sync takes a few minutes on a large book; after that only what changed is sent.
What’s new in v1.7.58
There is now a proper installer, and this build is code-signed, so Windows now names Comhard Technologies Pvt Ltd as the publisher instead of warning about an unknown one. It also carries the TallyBridge app icon, matching the phone app. And syncing now stops with an explanation if TallyPrime is running in Educational mode — in that mode Tally only answers for the 1st and 2nd of a month and returns your entire book for any other date, so a sync would have uploaded wrong figures rather than incomplete ones. Invoice details added in 1.7.53 (batch number, discount percent and billed quantity) are still included.

Put it in a folder of its own such as C:\TallyBridge — not in your
Downloads folder, where Windows blocks programs from rewriting themselves and the connector
can never update.
